Shady Spot

I suspect we’ve all been there. A sunny day at the beach and no shady spot to be had. Unless, perhaps, you are a pair of cute little puppies. This pre-1923 humorous postcard pokes fun at the size of a lady’s shadow. On a hot day, even a tiny shadow and shady spot is welcome.

While this vintage postcard lacks the charm of many of the others I’ve shared with you here on Free Vintage Art; it is only the second humorous image I’ve found to share with you.
